About Me

I’m a freelance creative copywriter, journalist and music publicist working at the intersection of music, festivals and cultural storytelling.

For more than two decades I’ve helped artists, festivals and cultural organisations shape the words and narratives that bring their projects to life - from press releases and campaign messaging to editorial features, artist biographies and brand voice.

My background spans music journalism, PR, communications and live events, with previous roles including Editor-in-Chief, Dance Music Editor, Director of Communications and Creative Content Lead. I specialise in communications that connect audiences with culture - whether launching a festival lineup, crafting a campaign narrative or creating content and narratives which resonate.

Current projects include copywriting for Wilderness Festival and MAMA shows, publicity work with Family PR on projects including Brick Lane Jazz Festival, the Somerset House Summer Series, Camden High Street relaunch and arts journalism for The Margate Mercury.

Alongside my writing and PR work I’ve spent years programming and curating music events and venues, bringing a deep understanding of the culture, audiences and energy that shape great live experiences.
